With gingerbread walls and roof, decorated with brightly coloured sweets, icing, candy canes and even its own snowman, this Gingerbread Cottage is a beautifully detailed miniature masterpiece. Sewn on smaller 18 count fabric, you won’t need too much experience to make this kit. The cross-stitch part isn’t complicated and the instructions are fully illustrated. You’ll just need a passion for tiny things - and a bit of patience!

    This pretty gingerbread cottage has a snowy white felt roof and lots of detail. It uses only cross-stitch, back stitch and whip stitch (with a little blanket stitch around the roof) on 14 count coloured Aida fabric. The larger count and fewer stitches involved make this quicker to finish and a little easier than other projects.
